71. What is the objectives of Pressing M/C ?

Ans: The main objective is to remove the unwanted creases and crinkles.

72. What is tag Gun ?

Ans: By the help of the this m/c the Price Ticket or \ Hang Tag are attached with the garments.

73. Which m/c are used for manufacturing the sweaters ?

Ans: Normally the following m/c are used:
       
* Winding m/c
        * Knitting m/c
        * Linking m/c

74. What are the Properties of Seam or Sewing or Stitching ?

Ans: Below properties are necessary when seam is performed ...........

        * Strength
        * Elasticity
        * Durability
        * Comfort.

75. How many ways fabrics can be attached or joined ( Type of Seam ) ?

Ans: Mainly there are eight ways . . .

     * Class - 1 , Superimposed seam
     * Class - 2 , Lapped Seam
     * Class - 3 , Bound Seam
     * Class - 4 , Flat Seam
     * Class - 5 , Decorative Seam
     * Class - 6 , Edge neatening seam
     * Class - 7 , Extra item addition seam
     * Class - 8 , Belt loop making seam

76. What is superimposed seam ?

Ans: It is simple joining of two layers fabric. It may be done by plain m/c or overlock m/c or interlock m/c. These type of seam are used for joining the side seam of a shirt.

77. What is lapped seam ?

Ans: It is joining by two layer of fabric, But after joining two edge the other edge are stayed at opposite side. It is done bt Feed of the arm m/c. This type of seam is used for joining the side seam of jeans pant.

78. What is the bound seam ?

Ans: It is joining of two layer of fabric. In this process one fabric is folded ans other is not. It is done by plain m/c with folder.This type of seam is used for making Long Sleeve, baby dress etc.

79. What is flat seam ?

Ans: It is joining two layer of fabric but one layer is not placed on the other, In the process two layer of fabric are stayed side by side and maintain gap between two layer's. The two layer are joined by decorative or Zig-Zag stitching. This type of seam is used for manufacturing ladies dress mainly.

80.  What is Edge Neatening Seam ?

Ans: It is joining of two or more layers of fabric but before joining , The edge are cut first then the edge are joined by overlock sewing.The process is done by overlock sewing m/c.
